To know him was to love him. He was so full of love and laughter. Always a funny story and kind word. He loved to make people laugh & he was so good at it..
He Made you feel so special. I never knew anyone who didn't like him. Such a tender spirit. He always Cried when telling touching stories. He would say "I'll try to dry it up fast."
One of a kind, LeRoy Haney! He loved people and being with his family. So humble - never wanting to ask for anything .. He loved the Lord and told so many church stories .. He was going to write a book "Funny things that happened in church"
He was a record keeper like none-other!!
It would shock you what all he had recorded and saved.
I can't think of a more positive person than LeRoy Haney!
He will be greatly missed.
So glad he didn't suffer.
He never had a surgery or spent night in hospital.
He had on his satin pajamas. He loved satin pajamas.
He lived a wonderful, blessed life. Started with $10 to his name.
When he first started delivering auto parts, when he would get out of his delivery truck, sweat would slosh out of his shoes. He was a Salesman out of this world!! He never complained. Had the best memory and told stories better than Paul Harvey!
He once told me the key to 70 years of marriage was putting God first and also finding the humor. This has helped me during a few spats :))
He was a phenomenal grandpa. So thankful for the Time we had with him.
Wish so badly Stella could know and remember him. But I will instill
All the stories in her heart.
Until we meet again on those streets of gold, I Love you Grandpa❤️
Save me some iced milk ..
